After Raje, Devnani launches mobile app
THE MOBILE APP HAS FEATURES SUCH AS NEWS AND UPDATES OF DEVNANI, HIS DAILY SCHEDULE, A SECTION TO SHARE CREATIVE WORK FOR TEACHERS
chief minister Vasundhara Raje, state education minister Vasudev Devnani, too has launched his official mobile application for teachers and students to directly get in touch with him.
Union human recourse development minister Prakash Javadekar on Thursday launched the apps that will give more than 80 lakh students and four lakh teachers to directly connect with the minister and also share their innovative ideas, suggestions among others.
After inaugurating the Swami Vivekanand Government Model School in Ajmer’s Makadwali, Javadekar launched the apps. The English medium school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been constructed at an estimated cost of ₹ 7crore.
The Android-based mobile apps, is developed by Imran Khan, a mathematics teacher from Alwar who was praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address at London’s Wembley stadium in 2015.
The mobile app has features such as news and updates of Devnani, his daily schedule, a section to share creative work for teachers, besides the social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram of the minister, said a department official. In addition, the app will also provide details about the achievements of the department and related news and circulars.
The application can be downloaded free of cost on Google Play, the official said.
Working on “go-digital” mantra, the state higher education department too recently launched a mobile app “Hello English” in order to improve English of students.
In 2016, the state information technology and communication department launched an official app of CM Vasundhara Raje to provide people the latest updates on the state and help them contribute towards developing a better and prosperous Rajasthan.
The app connects a number of schemes of the state government and gives people an opportunity to interact with Raje.
