In 6 months, no post of any category will remain vacant in education dept: Devnani
: Minister of State of Education Vasudev Devnani Wednesday said chief minister in her budget speech had announced to fill 77,100 vacant posts and it will be done in next 5-6 months. After that there will be no vacant posts in any category in education department.
Replying during Question Hour, he said that when BJP took charge in 2013, 52% posts were lying vacant. The government has recruited on 67,000 posts and gave 1.09 lakh promotions.
The minister said the state government was making efforts to open senior secondary school within five kilometres. He said no students should be deprived of education because of distance, therefore, every girl of class nine is given a bicycle and arrangement of transport voucher has also been made for students.
Replying to the main question of BJP MLA from Pilibanga assembly constituency, Dropati, Devnani said that quality education is being imparted to students in primary education through state initiative for quality education (SIQE), in which learning outcome of the children has been set up based on the set outcome of NCERT.
Analysis is done by making a plan for attaining the educational level as per the learning level of children. He said in each gram panchayat, schools are upgraded to government senior secondary school in phased manner.
In regard to upgrading secondary schools to senior secondary schools at Pilibanga, Deegwala, Khedasari, Bherusari, Kanvani and Gandhi Nagar in Pilibanga assembly constituency, the proposals have been submitted to the finance department.
