JAIPUR: Ranji Trohpy, threeday challenger and oneday challenger will also be organised. After BCCI issues the calendar, the coaching camp will be held.

ASHOK OHRI, former RCA secretary

Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) president CP Joshi’s faction, in a coordination committee meeting under the chairmanship of former RCA secretary Ashok Ohri, has announced the fixture for the next season starting from June 4.

On the other hand, the Lalit Modi faction is yet to announce their cricket schedule.

The calendar has been submitted to Joshi, who has sent it to the BCCI. Under-19 tournament will kick off from June 4 while senior championship will be held from June 25 to July 2. Under-23 tournament will be from July 25 to August 20.

“Ranji Trohpy, three-day challenger and one-day challenger will also be organised. After BCCI issues the calendar, the coaching camp will be held,” said Ohri.

He said that under-19 state group league matches will be from June 4 to 14 at eight districts including Jaipur. Knock out matches will be held from June 16 to 30 at Jaipur and Udaipur.

State under-23 matches will be from July 25 to August 4 and knock out from August 6 to 20.

Senior challenger one-day tournament will start from September 1, Ohri said. “I have submitted the calendar for the next season to Joshi,” he added.

The CP Joshi and Lalit Modi factions have been on collision course for the longest time.

The tussle between different two factions once again came to fore in April when two office bearers alleged that they were being forced to clear bills pertaining to excess expenditure of ₹2 crore.

General secretary Rajendra Singh Nandu and treasurer Pinkesh Porwal Jain alleged that RCA president CP Joshi was forcing them to sign on the bills.
