“0901hrs IST July 12 2018, on sacred Guruvaar day, our Beloved Revered Dada JP Vaswani passes on, from the seen to the unseen. Ever-loving, evergiving, may he continue to bless us from the beyond,” the mission tweeted.

The mortal remains of JP Vaswani, known for promoting vegetarianism and animal rights, have been kept at the mission till Friday, for followers to pay their last respect.

JP Vaswani was born on August 2, 1918 in a pious Sindhi family in Hyderabad in Pakistan’s Sindh.

Blessed with immense wisdom, he was passionate about educating the girl child, cleanliness and furthering peace as well as brotherhood.”

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader LK Advani was among those who frequently visited JP Vaswani’s Sadhu Vaswani Mission.
