Woman’s body parts found in Jhalawar

KOTA: Jhalawar Police have recovered body parts of a woman in a village in Ghatoli region of Jhalawar district on Friday.

Station House Officer (SHO), Ghatoli police station, Jhalawar, Vivek Soni, said that police, on Friday morning was informed that body parts of a woman were found scattered with some clothes in Kotda Jagir village of Ghatoli area in Jhalawar.

“A skull, jaws with teeth and leg bones were found scattered. Apart from these, some clothes of a woman along with bangles and a pair of slippers were found near the body parts,” the station house officer said.

Soni added that a case of murder has been lodged against unknown persons and police are probing the case from all angles.

The body parts will be sent for DNA test, he said.

Meanwhile, a person of Bhojpur village in Madhya Pradesh has lodged a complaint with the Ghatoli police that his wife is missing since January 26 this year.

Police think that the body parts could be of her as the recovered bangles are similar to those of the missing woman.
