JET BOARD MEET ON FEBRUARY 14 TO APPROVE DEC QUARTER RESULTS

NEW DELHI: Jet Airways, which is grappling with acute financial problems, on Friday said its board will meet on February 14, to approve the unaudited financial statements for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2018. “The meeting of the board of directors of the company shall be held on February 14, 2019, inter alia, to approve the unaudited financial statements for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2018,” Jet Airways said in a filing. Jet Airways’ shares fell by 2.24% on the BSE. In a filing to stock exchanges on Thursday, the company said four planes have been grounded due to non-payment of amounts outstandin­g to lessors under lease agreements. “The company is actively engaged with all its aircraft lessors and regularly provides them with updates on efforts undertaken by the company to improve its liquidity,” it said.
