WOODS IN SHAPE

-

FLORIDA: Tiger Woods heads into this week’s Players Championship with his neck in good shape and he expects his putter to feel the same. Woods’s neck and putter have both been a little strained since the start of the season with the former world No. 1, recognised as one of the game’s greats with the short stick, carding six three-putts in each of his last two tournaments. But with his neck now pain free, Woods says his putting has also come around as he chases a third Players title, regarded golf’s unofficial fifth major, and 81st PGA Tour win.
