SPUTNIK VACCINE TO REACH INDIA ON MAY 1: RDIF

HYDERABAD/MOSCOW: India will receive the first batch of Russia-made Sputnik V vaccine against Covid-19 on May 1, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said on Monday, even as Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, which is distributing the vaccine in India, said it expects the first lot by May end.

However, Kirill Dmitriev did not say how many vaccines would be in the first batch.
