‘Keeping one’s sanity and peace of mind intact is very important’

With the imposition of Section 144 in Maharashtr­a, most shoots have been shifted to other parts of the country. But Shweta Tripathi Sharma, who is currently shooting for Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein in Manali, says that shooting away from Mumbai doesn’t guarantee complete safety. Sharing a recent anecdote from the sets of her project in Benaras, the actor says, “It was difficult to do crowd scenes. The safety of the cast and crew was at stake and people wearing masks would pop up in the frame.”

She shares that working during such difficult times is posing a lot of questions for the artiste in her. “Filmmakers are still deciding on where their stories will be set and if Covid-19 will be a part of the fictional world created by them. This is a conversati­on that I’ve been having with my writers and directors so as to be aware of the way forward,” she says.

Acknowledg­ing the fear and panic all around, she stresses that one needs to take care of their mental health. “You’re bound to be anxious at times like these, but at the same time, keeping one’s sanity and peace of mind intact is very important.
