Cannot ramp up production overnight: SII CEO

NEW DELHI:

Serum Institute of India (SII) CEO Adar Poonawalla on Monday said his firm cannot ramp up production of Covid-19 vaccines overnight as vaccine making is a specialised process.

Poonawalla said the population of India is huge and to produce enough doses is not an easy task.
