India extended financial support of ₹5 lakh to Ravinder Pal Singh, member of India’s victorious 1980 Moscow Olympics team, who has been in a hospital ICU here since April 24 with severe Covid-19 symptoms. MK Kaushik is also undergoing treatment in New Delhi.
