I want a husband more than anything, says Colton

-

Colton Underwood made headlines last month when he came out as gay. The news came as a shock for many as he had starred as The Bachelor in 2019 to scout for a wife on national television, searching for love among 30 aspiring brides-to-be.

According to People.com, the television personality is now ready to start a family and at a recent interview, he revealed that due to his conservative upbringing, he didn’t think he could have a husband and kids.

“I do want to be in love. I still want the white picket fence. The whole definition of traditional lifestyle that I thought growing up conservative meant, I can still have,” he said, adding, “I can still do all of the things that I thought were only possible in a straight relationship.”

The former NFL player said that he had been “physically” been involved with men in the past, but now he’s searching for something more meaningful. “I want a partner and a husband more than anything, and I want a family. I want kids, I want dogs, I want the whole nine yards” he said.
