No physical hearing of cases till May 24
The Rajasthan high court will not take up physical hearing of cases till May 24 due to Covid surge.urgent matters will be taken up through video conferencing, according to a notification issued by the registrar general of the court.
“The state is observing Pandemic Red Alert Public Discipline Fortnight from May 3 to 17 and has issued an order for lockdown from May 10 to 24. In view of the order and considering the grave situation, the functioning of the Rajasthan high court at Jodhpur and Jaipur bench shall be only through video conferencing from May 18 to May 24,” said the notification.
All interim orders expiring between May 18 and 24 will remain extended till the next date to be announced. Accused will be exempted from personal presence in appeals/revisions till May 24.
