What people on ground are going through is beyond our imagination, says Mohit

Actor Mohit Raina, who was hospitalised after contracting Covid-19, last month, has recovered well and is happy to be back home.

Earlier, Raina had shared a picture of himself from the hospital, urging fans to stay safe. “As I look outside and inside I say a small prayer for everyone. Dad always said prayers work magically. I would request all of you to stay safe and pray for humanity… Everyday I see a gamut of human emotions. we are okay coz of them..(sic),” the Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev actor captioned the post.

Talking about his battle with Covid-19, Raina, 38, who was shooting in Lucknow when he developed symptoms, says, “According to doctors, the virus was very strong and it was the beginning of the second wave, so it went unnoticed for some time. After having severe symptoms, I was hospitalised for a long time. I was in isolation till I completely recovered. I am indebted to the doctors in Lucknow.”

He is also quite shocked at the death of actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal, who passed away on May 1 due to Covid-19 complications. “A day prior to getting admitted, I was shooting with Major Bikramjeet,” shares the actor, who feels lucky to have survived the virus.

“Hospitalisation was tough but in the current scenario you can’t complain, because what people on the ground are going through is beyond our imagination. I just pray to the Almighty that we all pass these unprecedented times,” he adds.
