Sonal reacts to flak received for doing ‘charity for camera’

Recently, Sonal Chauhan was at the receiving end of criticism on social media when she distribute­d the biscuits to poor outside a temple in She was trolled Mumbai. for doing “charity for the Exasperate­d, camera”.

the actor says, “They are called trolls for a reason.

They want to attack any celebrity doing some

good thing.” Slamming netizens who

derided her charitable act, she points out that

they had trolled her even when she wasn’t

doing anything to help the needy during the crisis.

Chauhan, 34, elaborates, “I gave biscuits to

the kids because I go there often and I am aware

that they like biscuits. Later, there were

other videos that came up where I was seen distributi­ng trolls rations, and had a problem with that,

too, as they felt that I was doing it for the

camera.

Admitting that the paparazzi present were
