Yami-aditya’s traditional mehendi and wedding pics take internet by storm
The news of actor Yami Gautam and filmmaker Aditya Dhar’s hush-hush wedding came as a surprise to not just their fans, but also their friends and members of the film fraternity. That there was something brewing between the couple, who had collaborated on the 2019 film Uri: The Surgical Strike (she starred in it while he directed it), was not known even to them!
The intimate, traditional pahadi wedding ceremony took place in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, where the actor was born. The wedding picture was shared by the newlyweds on Friday evening, where Gautam was seen dressed in a red silk saree and traditional gold jewellery, including the pahadi nath. Dhar, on the other hand, opted for an ivory sherwani with a matching turban.
Fans were treated to more pictures from their wedding festivities as, on Saturday, the actor shared stunning clicks from the mehendi ceremony, for which she chose an orange suit and traditional earrings.
