MCDONALD’S TO GIVE SPECIAL DEALS TO VACCINATED CONSUMERS

Fast food chain Mcdonald’s said that its restaurants in north and east India will offer special deals and offers to people who are vaccinated. Consumer companies across the globe are trying to incentivise shoppers who are vaccinated, giving marketeers an opportunity to build promotions around the same.

The offers will be available on the fast food chain’s app and won’t be applicable to orders placed through aggregators such as Swiggy and Zomato. “Customers can avail the offer by uploading their vaccination certificate on our mobile app under the ‘Got Vaccinated’ tab, along with basic details. After this, they will receive a unique code via SMS that can be redeemed through Getmcdonalds.com and opt for contactless delivery or contactless take away/in-store,” the company said in a statement.
