Terrorist killed in J&K encounter, say police

ANANTNAG (J&K): A Lashkar-eTaiba (LeT) terrorist was killed during an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, police said.

Earlier, following an attack on non-local labourers at Rakhmoman Bijbehara in which one terrorist succumbed to injuries, the police arrested one accused identified as Sajad Ahmad.

“During probe, he confessed of his involvement in the crime. He also confessed of having knowledge about presence of terrorists in Bijbehara,” the police said. AGENCIES
