Bengali actor Aindrila Sharma, 24, no more
Bengali actor Aindrila Sharma died on Sunday at a hospital in Kolkata, where she was undergoing treatment after suffering multiple cardiac arrests earlier this week. She was 24.
The actor was admitted on November 1 after suffering a brain stroke. She reportedly had intracranial haemorrhage and had to undergo left frontotemporoparietal decompressive craniotomy surgery. On November 14, the actor suffered multiple cardiac arrests, following which her health deteriorated.
As per an Indian Express report, Sharma, who defeated cancer twice earlier, breathed her last on November 20.
Some reports claim that Sharma suffered multiple cardiac arrests on Saturday night and was given CPR. Later, she suffered another massive heart attack, and she didn’t respond to the CPR support. The actor had been on ventilator support for a while and her condition was said to be critical.
Recently, her beau, actor Sabyasachi Chowdhury, had urged fans to pray for Sharma: “Pray for Aindrila. Pray for a miracle. Pray for the supernatural. She is fighting against all odds, beyond human.”
