LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday raised the Ram temple pitch, alleged the Congress was not capable of keeping the borders safe and its “carbon copy” the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had ruined Delhi.

Yogi Adityanath was addressing public meetings in Dwarka and Kutch districts of Gujarat where assembly polls will be held on December 1 and 5. Asserting that Ram temple in Ayodhya will become a symbol of national pride and its construction will be completed in 2023, Yogi Adityanath said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the first PM to visit Ayodhya to have darshan of Ram Lalla.

He mentioned that construction of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham has been completed in Varanasi and people are aware of the renovation of Mahakal temple in Ujjain, Kedarnath and Badrinath in Uttarakhand.

We are building a new India, the borders of the country are safe. The forces of terrorism, corruption and separatism are at their end. Article 370 has been scrapped to bring Jammu and Kashmir into national mainstream”, he said.

“Along with honouring faith, Modi has stood with the people during the period of crisis. During the Covid-19 pandemic, when people were struggling to save their lives, the BJP government provided them free test, free treatment, free vaccine and free ration,” he said.

Yogi Adityanath also said the Congress government would never have removed Article 370 nor worked for construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya.
