The year has been a blessing for me

Actor Amruta Khanvilkar, who received a lot of love for her Marathi film Chandramukhi, has been enjoying a good run in the entertainment industry this year.

“The kind of response I’ve been getting from the audience this year, from both the Hindi and Marathi industries, has been amazing; it has been a blessing for me,” says Khanvilkar.

The actor also celebrated her birthday in a grand way recently, something she claims to have never done before. “I come from a middleclass Maharashtrian family, where my sister and I used to celebrate together, because our birth dates are just three days apart. We used to cut one cake, either on my birthday or hers,” she reveals.
