Pathak: BJP to win all three by-polls

AGRA: Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak on Saturday claimed that the BJP would win all three by-elections in Uttar Pradesh. The lotus would bloom in Mainpuri because of the masses being convinced by public welfare schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh improving under chief minister Yogi Aditya Nath, he said.

Pathak was in Mainpuri on Friday and Saturday to campaign in favour of BJP candidate Raghuraj Singh Shakya contesting against Samajwadi Party candidate Dimple Yadav for Mainpuri by-poll scheduled on December 5.

“There are two Vidhan Sabha by-polls and one Lok Sabha by-election being held in Uttar

Pradesh and the BJP will win all three with convincing margin. Pathak, who has been camping in Mainpuri for BJP candidate Raghuraj Singh Shakya, addressed a gathering in Bhongaon assembly seat of Mainpuri district on Saturday and praised the BJP for ensuring that criminals moved away from BJP.

“We won Azamgarh and Rampur and will win Mainpuri and other seats. PM Narendra modi has changed the image of India globally,” said Pathak.

The deputy chief minister also visited Agra to bless the newlywed couple in the family of MP from Fatehpur Sikri (Agra Rural) Raj Kumar Chahar.

Talking to a section of the media, Pathak was confident that the BJP would perform exceedingl­y well in the forthcomin­g local bodies’ elections.

“With BJP in power at the centre, in the state and in Agra Nagar Nigam, the triple engine governance has delivered a lot and with repeat of past performanc­e in local bodies election ahead, the BJP will ensure growth in the city of Taj again,” said Pathak.
