Three competitions held in AMU

ALIGARH : The Raleigh Literary Society, Department of English, Aligarh Muslim University organised three competitions on spoken word poetry, storytelling and poster making. These were organised as part of the ongoing 19th International Biennial Symposium on Literature and Culture in the

Asia-Pacific Region. The event on the first day began with an address by the chairman, English department, Prof. Mohammad Asim Siddiqui, also the president of the Raleigh Literary Society and anchored by students, Alina Hadi and Nausheen Nizami. Apart from 15 entries for performance, there were onthe-spot registrations too. hey spoke with great creativity and enthusiasm, both in the themed section as well as the open theme one.
