WHAT IS LIGHT IT UP BLUE?

Observed all over the world on World Autism Awareness Day, April 2, Light It Up Blue is an international initiative to show support and raise awareness about autism. Iconic landmarks around the world are lit up in blue to show solidarity. In India, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, National Trust for the welfare of persons with Autism and other developmental disabilities and Archaelogical Survey of India had collectively organised lighting six historical monuments in Delhi vis a vis Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb, Safdarjung Tomb, Jantar Mantar, Purana Quila and Red Fort yesterday.
