NAVI MUMBAI: For those interested in photography, Navi Mumbai has a number of options this summer.
One of them could be the photography workshop by Gpreels in Kopar Khairne, which starts on April 6.
The eight-day workshop will be conducted over four weekends, every Saturday and Sunday, with a session on a different aspect of photography each day.
“Our workshop is aimed at newcomers who are interested in learning technique. We will cover understanding of light, camera, studio equipment usage, different lenses, light painting and basics of photoshop,” said Gaurav Prabhu, co-founder. “Our three-hour long lectures will be divided in theory and practicals. We also conduct indoor and outdoor shoots, for which you can register on the spot,” he said.

course helps people who are keen on making photography their profession. The course is designed to cover everything one needs to know about wildlife photography. We will even guide them on processing and interactive learning,” said Dr Caeser Sengupta, founder, DCP.
Starting May 1, Omi Photography in Kharghar will hold special workshops on clicking pictures using smartphones, tablet or point and shoot digital camera. “Two workshops will be conducted in May. The first one is aimed at teenagers who use digital cameras, phones or iPads to click pictures and the other is for people who have used a DSLR before. While teaching using digital cameras, the focus will be on composition skills. For the DSLR workshop, the stress will be on aspects such as light, exposure, shutter speed, different modes and lenses,” said Omi Banerjee, from Omi Photography.
