Two allege that they were cheated by brokers
NAVI MUMBAI: Two cases of frauds were reported in the city recently. In the first case, Mohammed Ansari, a businessman residing in Kurla has alleged that he had given Rs5.73 lakh for a flat at plot no. 46 in sector 19 of Kopar Khairne to a broker from sector 17 in Vashi. However, Ansari has now alleged he has neither been given possession of the flat nor has his money been refunded. In another case of fraud, Sapna Sharma, a resident of Vikhroli filed a complaint that she was promised a row house by brokers for which she paid them Rs21 lakh on August 6 last year. However, she is yet to get the house or have the money returned to her.
