Senior citizen robbed of her mangalsutra

JUINAGAR: A senior citizen from sector 24 of Juinagar has alleged that on April 1, when she was walking in Juinagar, a person duped her and robbed her of mangalsutra worth Rs16,080. Yamuna Kale, 68, said that the accused told her to take off her jewellery and put it into a bag, since he was collecting things to distribute to the poor. The man then escaped from there, she had alleged.
