EXPLOSION NEAR BJP OFFICE

At least 16 people were

injured and seven vehicles, including a police van, gutted in a bomb blast in a crowded residential neighbourhood near the BJP office in Malleswaram in north Bangalore around 10.30am on Wednesday.

The bomb was planted on a stolen motorcycle parked between a van and a car near the BJP office, which was buzzing with activity on the last day of nominations for the May 5 assembly polls

The police suspect the involvement of the LeT and the Indian Mujahideen (IM), which were behind the last three terror attacks in the city.
