FORTIS FIRST HOSP IN CITY TO GET NATIONAL ACCREDITATION
VASHI: Fortis Hiranandani Hospital has announced that it is the first hospital in Navi Mumbai that has been accreditated by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH).
NABH assesses a hospital based on several parameters such as patient welfare, safety and facility infrastructure. The certification process involves an in depth inspection of all identified parameters and a visit from NABH to the hospital for inspection. The NABH assesses the hospital based on 10 chapters, 102 objective elements and 636 standards.
Dr Leena Phadnis, regional quality head ( West and East) Fortis Healthcare, said, “The Fortis Vashi team has put in their best performance and this accreditation is a demonstration of our commitment to improving quality care and enhancing the lives of our patients.”
