CR TO IMPROVE AMENITIES AT PANVEL STATION
PANVEL: The central railway administration’s assurance to look into several demands of the Railway Pravasi Sangh including the installation of 18 new digital indicators at all suburban stations has renewed hope among scores of commuters who face problems at the station.
In a recent meeting between the manager of central railways (coaching) DCM Pandey and a delegation of the Pravasi Sangh led by its president Dr Bhaktikumar Dave, several long pending issues like the asphalting of approach roads on the west side of the station, among others were discussed. There was also a demand for hygienic Janta meals to be made available at affordable rates.
Pandey has assured the Sangh that their demands will be met by the third week of May.
