Sena workshop on how to file papers
VASHI: The Shiv Sena’s city unit on Wednesday conducted a workshop at the Vishnudas Bhave auditorium in Vashi to guide candidates on the precautionary measures to be taken when filing nomination papers for the upcoming NMMC elections.
During the workshop, aspirants were guided on how to contest the civic polls.
They were also informed about the precautionary measures they need to take to ensure that their name and those of their proposers are included in the voters’ list.
The aspirants were also told to disclose the assets and liabilities correctly while filing their nomination papers.
Addressing the party workers, member of Parliament Rajan Vichare s aid, “T he workers should work hard to ensure victory of party candidates in the NMMC polls after the BJP-Sena alliance has been finalised.”
Vichare and Sena l eader Vijay Nahata also called upon party leaders, whose name don’t find place in the list of candidates, not to rebel against the party and support the party candidates.
Meanwhile, the Sena, which is set to field candidates in all the 111 wards, has already interviewed 4-5 aspirants per ward to find the most suitable candidate.
