Giving details about preparations being done by the NMMC, civic chief Dinesh Waghmare said, “While the volume of this election is more, the civic officials have made requisite arrangement to ensure peaceful civic elections.”

He said “A single-window system under the guidance of a returning officer has been put in place to give candidates permission for putting up banners, stages and holding public meetings at the ground.”

Taking note of scores of residents going on holiday to their native places during April-May, the NMMC will make voters aware of importance of voting through banners, street plays.
