FABINDIA SORRY, BUT INSISTS ‘NO HIDDEN CAMERAS’
MUMBAI: A day after Union HRD minister Smriti Irani said she spotted a hidden camera in the changing room of a Fabindia store in Goa, the company on Saturday apologised to her, but said “there were no hidden cameras anywhere in the store, including the trial rooms”.
The camera in question, the company’s statement said, was part of the surveillance system and was in full public view.
The statement came on a day when all four of its employees who were arrested on Friday were granted bail.
The store manager, who was not traceable, applied for anticipatory bail through her lawyer.
