PROMINENT NAMES WHO GOT TICKET

Congress corporator Santosh Shetty is the senior most of the corporators in the civic body as he has been re-elected corporator four times in a row.

Sabu Daniel too has been corporator in the civic body over the last 20 years. He was elected as corporator in the civic body for two terms and over the last 10 years, he was nominated as corporator in the NMMC.

Vithal More has also been corporator in the civic body for the last two decades but he lost second election to NMMC. He was then nominated as corporator in the civic body.

The present 94-member civic body has 89 elected corporators and 5 nominated corporators. Of them, 50 corporators are contesting the civic body elections.
