The MCHI- CREDAI Navi Mumbai-Raigad (NMR) is a body of over 300 real estate developers based in the NMR region. The NMR unit of MCHI was formed with an intention of promoting Navi Mumbai and Raigad as an emerging market for real estate in India.

“Our belief in the growth prospects of Navi Mumbai is validated by the fact that the region, over the last few years, has turned into a proposed venue for numerous infrastructure projects. This, in addition to it being earmarked by the Government of India as one of the most potent zones for both residential and commercial structures,” said Arvind Goel, president, MCHI-CREDAI Navi Mumbai.

Goel said, “MCHI NMR organises exhibitions that offer a platform for its developer group to showcase properties to buyers. This exhibition could prove to be a turning point for the real estate market in the city.”

Manohar Shroff, secretary, MCHI Navi Mumbai, said, “Apart from word-of-mouth publicity, a widespread promotional campaign has also been devised to generate mileage for the expo. This year we also banked on many innovative communication channels to publicise the event.”

Vikas Bhamre, Raigad unit president, said, “Real estate is a huge contributor to India’s GDP. It impacts 250 industries and sectors. Real estate lacks the status of an industry. It is high time we took steps to attract attention of authorities ”
