Property expo: 100 developers, 500 projects
VASHI: The third edition of the MCHI-CREDAI Navi Mumbai-Raigad (NMR) property expo got off to a grand start on Friday at the Cidco Exhibition Centre in Vashi.
The four-day expo is offering flats starting from Rs12 lakh and properties in Navi Mumbai and Raigad areas.
The expo was inaugurated by former minister Ganesh Naik. The inaugural function was also attended by MLAs Raj Purohit and Manda Mhatre.
Speaking on the occasion, Naik said, “Navi Mumbai provides an excellent platform for those residing in Mumbai and its suburbs to choose the house of their dreams.”
Purohit, former housing minister, said, “There is an excellent range of choice at the expo and I think those interested in buying flats should visit it at least once.”
Mhatre said, “There is no dearth of quality and affordable housing in the city, which is growing. There are areas where the common man can purchase flats and this expo will help them in their quest.”
The MCHI Navi Mumbai pres---- ident Arvind Goel said, “We are very pleased with the response on the first day of the expo. We are expecting a bigger crowd in the weekend.”
There are round 150 stalls spread over 17,500 sft area at the expo. The expo has properties from Rs12 lakh onwards with more than 100 developers offering over 500 projects.
There are also banks and housing financial institutions present at the expo, if home buyers need to apply for loans on the spot.
Vaastu and Feng Shui experts present at the event will provide guidance to the home seekers.
Manohar Shroff, MCHI Navi Mumbai secretary, said, “We are expecting at least one lakh visitors this time. Since this is the third time we are organising the expo, there is a lot of trust and confidence in us amongst the visitors.”
