CBD BELAPUR: Navi Mumbai crime branch sleuths have ar­rested three peo­ple in­volved in house break-ins and seized goods worth Rs1.94 lakh from them. Ad­dress­ing a press con­fer­ence, deputy com­mis­sioner of po­lice (crime branch) Suresh Mengde said, “Act­ing on a tipoff, crime branch sleuths ar­rested In­dra Ku­mar Ram­lalit Gaud, 24, and Ab­dul Motin, 25.” Mengde said: “Kam­rul Hasan Sid­dique, 30, who used to buy stolen goods from the ac­cused, was also ar­rested from Dhar­avi. The two ac­cused used to take the last lo­cal to come to Kopar Khairane and break open locked flats in the node. They would make away with goods af­ter gain­ing ac­cess to the house.” He said, “The ac­cused would then sell the stolen items to Kam­rul, a res­i­dent of Sion-Dhar­avi. We have re­cov­ered gold weigh­ing three to­las, a nose ring, two TV sets, three com­put­ers, three lap­tops, four watches, a mixer, a gas cylin­der from them. Two lap­tops and two LCD TV sets were seized from Kam­rul.”
