The PMC needs 26.5 MLD wa­ter to en­sure wa­ter sup­ply to all its res­i­dents The civic body gets 10MLD wa­ter from Dehrang dam, 7MLD from MJP, 8MLD from MIDC and 1.5MLD from Cidco The present stor­age ca­pac­ity of Dehrang dam stands at 10,000MLD. If the height of the dam is in­creased by 5-6 me­tres, its stor­age ca­pac­ity will go up by 30MLD, said of­fi­cials in the Pan­vel Mu­nic­i­pal Coun­cil’s wa­ter sup­ply depart­ment.
