City advocates pledge to support NCP
NAVI MUMBAI: Pleased with the Nationalist Congress Party’s (NCP) policy of giving tickets to the intellectual class, the advocates of Navi Mumbai have decided to support them in the upcoming civic elections. “NCP prioritised the intellectuals when it came to distribution of the election tickets. They have also given tickets to four advocates from the city,” said advocate Dinesh Gupta, a representative. “Socially-conscious residents can understand the local issues better than anyone else. We are happy with the move.” Gupta claims to have nearly 100 advocates with them.
