Cidco managing director Sanjay Bhatia and V Radha have repeatedly appealed to the airport project-affected people not to sell the Pushpak Nagar land they will get as rehabilitation package. They have been told that their land prices will skyrocket once the airport project is completed.

Cidco has roped in former MLA and housing expert Chandrashekhar Prabhu to consult the farmers. He had asked couple of societies in Chembur to come together for redevelopment, which earned them much more than what they would have got if resorted to independent development. Magarpatta, a city within a city, is well equipped with all amenities. The city has been developed neither by a private developer nor any government agency. The city has houses, shops, super markets, IT park, school, multi-speciality hospitals, gardens, play grounds.

The vast land at Pushpak Nagar is now open for development.
