Relief for Gurgaon cops in Gadoli encounter case

The SC on Wednesday set aside a Bombay high court order directing the Mumbai police to register an FIR against the Gurgaon cops who were allegedly involved in the Sandeep Gagoli shootout at a suburban hotel in Mumbai. A bench of Justices V Gopala Gowda and Arun Misra accepted Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi’s plea that the HC verdict was delivered without

hearing the police version.
