URBAN HAAT DRAWS ARTISANS FROM ACROSS COUNTRY

CBD BELAPUR: Shilp Mela at Urban Haat which started on February 10 will continue till February 21. Mohan Ninawe, senior public relations officer of Cidco, said, “Artisans from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Manipur, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtr­a, Assam, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu and Punjab are participat­ing with their exclusive handloom and handicraft items.” He added, “Horticultu­re and nursery equipment, Kolhapuri, Rajasthani and Konkan food products will also be made available.” Ninawe added that cultural programmes by talented artists are held every evening.
