WHY THE DEPOT IS IMPORTANT

Panvel is located in the middle of Mumbai and Pune and surrounded by Cidco colonies having a population of 8 lakh. Scores of people heading to hilly regions and Konkan from the city take the buses from Panvel depot.

Besides this, a considerable number of people take the buses from the depot to travel to Pune and other areas for jobs.

It is the only bus depot in Panvel and Navi Mumbai where thousands of commuters arrive to take long distance buses. Hence, there is huge crowd at reservation and parcel counters at the depot.

Apart from this, buses heading to Mumbai, Pen, Thane, Alibaug, Kalyan, Uran, Vashi, Belapur, Alibaug,Murudla also ply from the depot. Hence the depot is always crowded in the evening.
