178 TREES ALONG THANE NAKA ROAD

The 2-km Thane Naka–PMC road is dotted with trees on both sides of the road. This provides a cool shelter for pedestrians and motorists who use it, especially in the summer heat. There are various species of new and old trees here. They also attract a number of birds to the area.

The work has begun without any decision being taken on the 178 trees along the road and which might be a hurdle in the project.
