JuD runs Sharia courts in Pak, 5,000 cases settled

ISLAMABAD: Sharia courts run by Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) across Pakistan are dispensing justice in a number of cases including murder, local English daily The News reported on Saturday. In Lahore alone, over 5,000 cases had been settled by the JuD, named by the US and the UN as a front for the outlawed Lashkar-e-Taiba, according to the report.
