The contract of the agency operating the medical stores ended in 2011

Nearly two years ago, tenders for the medical store were floated

But the standing committee raised objections over the revenue of Rs11 lakh a month quoted by one of the institutions and some of the terms and conditions in the tender

The tenders were cancelled, after which the Kalwa Chemists’ and Druggists’ Welfare moved court

The court has given a stay which was lifted in December 2014
