THE EARLIER PROPOSAL

In 2008, the then PMC president, Prashant Thakur, who is now Panvel MLA, had forwarded a resolution to the Centre, for the PMC to have its own bus service. In 2014, Rs54 crore was sanctioned for the same by the Centre under JNNURM.
