Delhi airport set for safe, healthy travel
NEW DELHI: To promote safe and healthy air travel, the national capital’s IGI Airport has implemented various measures such as deployment of UV technology for sanitising bags and queue managers. The Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) which runs the IGIA, said domestic flight operations will resume from May 25.
These services were suspended for about two months, following a nationwide lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. According to DIAL, several measures, new machines and protocols are designed to ensure compliance of social distancing norms and minimising human contact at the airport.
