Senior police inspector, S Ghatekar informed, “Kashinath used to have fights with the family members, he fired a shot with his licensed weapon Webley & Scott and fled from the spot. All family members who were there at home immediately took the victim to a nearby private hospital but during the treatment, she was declared dead on Friday morning. We have recovered the weapon from the house. We have also formed two teams to nab him and registered a case of murder against the accused.”
