MUMBAI: In the first Diwali after two years of pandemic-induced restrictions, politicians will celebrate the festival of lights with family, and voters with an eye on the upcoming municipal elections. An official told HT that Chief minister Eknath Shinde was likely to visit different deepotsavs and cultural events organised in Mumbai and Thane to mark the festival. Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis will spend some time in his hometown Nagpur and a day at his official bungalow.→P2
